If I Could Ride
After working with Alexis Arnold in the movie Narco Sub, producers reached out to see if she would be interested in working as a lead actress on the horse movie, If I Could Ride. Lexi was thrilled to have an opportunity to work with the beautiful animals. She spent a year training in English horse riding classes. During the summer of 2021 she volunteered to help children with spinal injuries and spinal impairments learn to ride a horse and she also volunteered her time rehabilitating injured horses. It was the most rewarding summer she had ever experienced. Alexis played Jodie Davis in the movie. Jodie Davis also known as Jodie Brown in the book If I Could Ride is born with an abnormal curvature of the spine. Her dream is to ride a horse and win a horse show competition. Jodie encounters many challenges throughout the movie. In order for Alexis to truly understand the difficulties a person living with spinal issues may encounter in day to day life and to truly understand her role, she chose to spend her summer volunteering to assist children with similar conditions. Producers flew Alexis out to New England to film the movie in October of 2021 and the movie is expected to hit film festivals in the spring of 2022.

On October 5, 2019 actress Alexis Arnold had 4 auditions in one day. After spending most of the day on the road driving back and forth between Austin and Houston she finally arrived to the last audition of the day which was for the movie Narco Sub. One month later she found out she booked the role of Allison Stryker, the daughter of the lead character Bruce Stryker played by actor Tom Vera. Lexi Arnold was very excited to start filming Narco Sub in January of 2020 with A list actors Lee Majors, Tom Sizemore and Robert LaSardo. Alexis Arnold had a very intense role in the film because her character Allison Stryker gets kidnapped by the Columbian cartel. She was very grateful that Director Shawn Welling at Welling Films and Executive Producer Derek Potts at Deep Water Productions had the faith in her to pull off this extremely powerful role. Actress Alexis Arnold played young Naomi Portman in the science fiction film The Last Astronaut. As a young girl Naomi goes on a bike ride with her best friend Luna Rigel when they experience an alien encounter. Young Naomi aims to protect her best friend from any outside dangers and soon their memories become erased. Lexi Arnold won her 1st award as Best Young Actress in this film. In the summer of 2017 actress Alexis Arnold worked with actors Elisabeth Rohm, Richard T. Jones and Elle LaMont on the set of Sanitatum where Alexis portrayed a young abused and starved girl, young Sydney Heathcote, who was forced to stay locked in a cage when her rich mother felt that she needed to be punished. The cabin girl experiences a series of events that takes place forcing her from her home and away from her mother. She finds herself with a stranger (the Captain played by actor and director Tony Gibson) who is running for his very own life. In 2019 actress Alexis Arnold was the lead actress in the faith based film Be Still. This role was very challenging because her character Eva Johnson loses her voice. So Alexis had to give her character a voice without using any words. An athiest widower father (Eric Hanson) and a child (Eva Johnson, played by Alexis Arnold) who was not raised to know God find their lives depending on the one whom they never thought would come. Alexis Arnold was honored to play such a meaningful character who represents love and faith during a trying time. Check out the link below for the trailer for Be Still.
